This past weekend we had our third baby class reunion, at our house!! So, we had lots of cute little kids walking, crawling, and rolling all around our house! :) It was very fun to see all of the adorable little kids, who were all born within a month of Jake, & they all played really well together. Even Harley "tolerated" more annoyance than normal. :)

Fun Trip to Portland!!
Mommy and I went to Portland to visit Grandma and Grandpa Walsh, and what a fun (and busy!) time we had!! Here's just a few of the things we did while there:
Had so much fun playing with Grammy Molly, she always makes me smile and laugh!!

I also got to show off all of my new "skills", like how fast I crawl, pull-up on all the furniture, and my two teeth!!

I even spent my first night away from both Mom and Dad, while Mom went to the beach with all of her high school friends. I missed Mommy, but Grammy entertained me and took such good care of me the whole time!!

I got to see my Great-Grandpa Harold, who loved to give me high-5s!

Another special treat was that I got to see Great-Grandpa Harold be the "King" of the Multnomah Days Parade. He rode in a carriage with lots of big horses!!

And the nice police officers at the parade let me "test out" their motorcyles, but made me promise to never have to be pulled over by one. :)

Grammy also bought me my first pairs of shoes at Nordstroms, I had to have my feet measured for the first time! I will probably be walking soon, so these will really come in handy...and also for when the weather starts to get cold here!

And of course, I also got to spend lots of fun time with Grandpa Steve.

I can't wait to go visit again, and hopefully then I will get to stay in Grandma and Grandpa's new house - which should hopefully be done in a few months!!

What a fun trip, though I was glad to see my Dad when we got home! :)

GGG: Great-Grandparents are Great!!
This past weekend Jake was lucky enough to get to spend time with four of his great-grandparents (Jason's grandparents)!! We all had a great time visiting, and Jake is lucky to have such wonderful great-grandparents in his life. We wish we lived closer so we could see them more often, but they are always in our thoughts!

Busy Weekend w/ lots of friends & family!
Jake had a very busy weekend, including a very fun playdate on Saturday! We went over to Jenette & Ryan's new house (which is beautiful), and Jake played with Austin Scheich (middle right & 10 months old), Christian Mirenda (middle left & 8 months old), and Talley Westerberg (far right & 2.5 months old). All the kids did great, and are sure to grow up to be great friends! :)

He also got to spend a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa Lessman, which was a lot of fun. He showed them all of his new "tricks" that they hadn't seen yet - crawling, pulling up, his two teeth, and eating lots of "people" food!

Then he even got to meet Mommy's good friends Erin & PG Decker who were in town for a wedding and were able to stop by for brunch on Sunday. It was great to see them, we just wish they lived closer!!

Another Trip!
Well, we just got back from another trip, Jake's 6th trip in 9 months!! This time we went to visit our good friends Jace and Doug Toben who moved a few months ago from Denver to Arkansas. Our other good friend Taryn came too, and the 6 of us had such a fun time - just like the old days! During this trip Jake went on his first boat...Jace and Doug live close to Beaver Lake, which is absolutley gorgeous. At first Jake wasn't quite so sure about "boating", but after only a little while he decided it was pretty fun - especially after he didn't have to wear the life jacket and got to be in the water.
Not only did we visit Arkansas for the first time, but the guys played in a charity golf tournament in Tulsa, OK - so we all went down there and Jake & the girls shopped while the guys golfed.
All in all, such a fun weekend and we wish we got to see The Tobens more often but look forward to hopefully another trip sometime soon.

9 Months Old!!
9 Months Old - Hard to believe that in just three months we will be celebrating Jake's 1st Birthday! Jake had his 9-Month Check-Up last Friday, and is doing great. He weighs just over 20 pounds (45th percentile) and is 28 inches long (75th percetile), looks like he is going to be tall - Jason says perfect for him to become a star basketball or football player. :)
And in honor of turning 9-months, Jake decided that he was finally ready to crawl! He's now off and running... Check out the link below (copy & paste the link) for a video of only his second day of crawling:

In the last week he has also learned to pull himself up, and he finally cut his first tooth!! Last weekend the baby gates went up, and we had to replace our coffee table with a leather ottoman. So many new things in only a matter of a few weeks, guess we better get used to it.

HOT, HOT, HOT...Trip to Arizona!!
Well, we survived the heat (about 115 degrees each day) and had a GREAT trip to Arizona for about a week. We had a very relaxing time, but also did a lot - besides hanging out in the pool to stay cool. :)

Jake loved having his own pool to share with just his cousin Drew - who is already a great swimmer at 2 years old!

Jake also had a great "First" 4th of July, we went to a BBQ then headed home where we played Uno Blast for a few hours - great game if anyone is interested.

Then I had a great birthday, we went to my favorite Mexican food restaurant in AZ. Jenny spoiled me and got my favorite for dessert - white Costco cake!! I made sure to enjoy this one before the big "3-0" next year! And thank you to everyone who called and sent cards, I really appreciate it!!

And Drew even made sure that Jake got to experience his first trip to Chuck E. Cheese, he loved watching his cousin play skeeball.

All in all, a great trip - we were very sad to come home.

Can you tell we are sisters? :)
