Tyler is 9 months old!!

How is it possible that in 3 short months our little baby will be a year old?!? We find it very hard to believe that Tyler is 9 months old already, and he seems to be growing before our eyes!! He has finally started to figure out how to crawl, although it's a little more of an "army crawl" for now. Basically, if he sees something that he wants, he will get there - faster than I ever think he can! He also loves to feed himself (surprising right? :), and is pretty bored with the baby food stuff. At his 9-month check-up he is 70% for weight and 75% for height. As always, his biggest amusement (and fan) is his big brother Jake - XOXO.

Happy Halloween!!

It was a very fun week leading up to Halloween this year, I can definitely tell you that Jake made sure we got our money's worth out of his costume - I wasn't sure it was even going to make it to the actual Halloween day! Jake was so excited to be Batman (big shocker), and loved to have Tyler as his sidekick Robin. Jake went trick-or-treating with Grace, as he has the last 3 years, and stayed out for 2 1/2 hours (with a stop at home to empty his bag half way through). Such a great week!

Mom & Grandma Molly had so much fun at Jake's school Halloween party

Tyler - 8 Months Old!

Well, yet another month has flown by and Tyler is now 8 months old! He is so close to crawling, and right now just gets frustrated that he can't get where he wants to go very fast - but he'll find a way to get there! His favorite activity is to still watch his big brother run around, and Jake just loves to make him laugh. Tyler has the best laugh, it just warms your heart when you heart it!!

After his haircut, he did so good just sitting super still in the chair!

Happy "4th" Birthday Jake!!

Jake had such a wonderful 4th Birthday, and just like his mom, managed to stretch it out as long as possible! We kicked it off with his Birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's with about 15 of his best friends - you can be sure that all of the kids slept well that night!

So excited for his party to start!

Very excited about the Batman cake he helped pick out

Couldn't just go with the Chuck E. Cheese decorations, had to add in some Batman!

Ready to play some games!!

Playing with his buddy Alec

Wearing his Birthday crown and drinking out of his Chuck E. Cheese bobblehead cup

Ready to blow out his candles

Giving Chuck E. Cheese a hug

In the ticket blaster, catching tickets under his shirt - pretty smart little kid!

The day after his party, opening presents!!

On his actual birthday he got to hand out treat bags to all of the kids in his class (Batman themed of course), and then we went to Red Robin for dinner - he wasn't quite sure about all of the waiters/waitresses singing to him. And then home to open presents!

Birthday morning, eating a donut and opening a few presents!!

Red Robin birthday dinner!!

"Cheers" with Dad!

Taking a few birthday calls during dinner :)

Tyler loved Red Robin too, especially the balloon part!

Such cute brothers! XOXO

Lastly, we had another birthday celebration once his Grandma Molly & Grandpa Steve came to visit from Oregon. He is one lucky kid, thanks to everyone who helped to make his 4th Birthday so great!!

Pumpkin Patch

We had such a great time at the Chatfield Pumpkin festival, not only did the boys have fun picking out some great pumpkins but then Jake had a blast with all of the jumpers and games that were there. We will definitely make this an annual event!
