Fountain Park
Jake's newest favorite thing to do, at least while the weather is still nice, is to go to the Highlands Ranch fountain park! He first went with his friend Grace, and then had to be sure to go again the very next day to show his Dad how much fun it was!!
This is fun!
This fountain doesn't scare me!
Fun, fun, fun!!

Tumbling Class!!
Jake has been enrolled in a Toddler tumbling class the past two months, and has loved it!! He has come a long way since the first class, and now loves to walk (forwards & backwards) on the balance beam, jump on the trampoline, and swing from the rings & bar! He's taking the class with all of his buddies from the "birthing class" group, so that makes it even more fun! We just finished the first session and will start our second class in a few weeks!!
First class - learning to do somersaults off the horse!
First class - loves going through the tunnel!
First class - loves to get a stamp at the end of each class!
Getting the hang of the balance beam...
Love to play instruments at the end of each class!
Rearranging a few things...
"Help, I'm stuck!!"
Also loves to stand in the middle of the circle at the end of each class & cheer!
Not so sure about the rings yet...
Getting the hand of the balance beam...
Hanging from the bar...
Can't wait for session #2!!!

Scribbles!!
Well, as most of you know by now, quite a few months ago I (Kelly) made a big decision and decided to go in to business with one of my very best friends and open a new stationery & invitation store, called Scribbles! Our doors opened to the public on August 1st, and so far we have had great success! It's been a lot of hard work and long hours, but well worth it! Leading up to our grand opening on 8/1/08 we had three parties the three days prior, and my Mom and sister Jenny were nice enough to come and help me celebrate my big week! The parties went great, as did our grand opening to the public! We've even had a lot of great publicity in the Denver area. Scribbles offers everything paper that you can think of - stationery, invitations, planners, greeting cards, notepads, ect. We decided to give ourselves a little time before our website goes live, but look for that to come sometime in September! Here are some pictures of the store and our opening parties:

Lessman Family Wedding
Jason's cousin, Shondel, got married a few weeks ago in Fort Morgan, CO - and we had such a great time, especially seeing all of the family!! This was Jake's second wedding ever, but the first since he was only 6 months old... Jake did great and Shondel was a beautiful bride! Here are some pictures from the wedding:
Before the wedding we stopped in Brush, CO to see Jason's grandma Ardenia and grandpa Ray. Jake loved showing off his "page turning" abilities. :)

Kelly's Colorado 30th Birthday Celebration!
Jason and our good friend Taryn were very nice and planned a 30th Birthday celebration for me the week after my birthday. They knew that I didn't want a surprise party so I got to be part of the planning, but they did really surprise me by having our other really good friends, Jace & Doug, fly in all the way from Arkansas for the party!!
We had such a great time and I really appreciate everyone that made it to help me celebrae, and thank you to Jason & Taryn who planned a wonderful party that I won't ever forget!!
Here are some pictures of the fun night:
Jace & Doug Toben who flew in for the party!
Good friends Nate & Julie, their first night out on the town after having little baby Tobyn!
The "baby group" - so fun to have them there!
Jenette & Katie, good friends from CSU.
Jenny & Cyp, thanks for making it!
Kelly's all-time favorite - Costco cake!!
