Oregon Trip

Jake and I headed out to Portland for a fun trip with Grammy and Grandpa, this was the first trip in a long time that we didn't have any set plans and we had so much fun!

The Portland Zoo, they had a baby elephant that was so cute!

Jake loved helping Grandpa water all the plants!

No better place to be on a Sunday morning than Portland Golf Club!

More Sparklers! Grammy saved some for Jake from the 4th of July.

Grammy & Jake having fun on our last day!

4th of July and Kelly's Birthday

This year we stayed close to home for the 4th of July, and headed up to the mountains (Keystone, CO) for a long weekend with Taryn and Reed. We ended up having great weather, and there were SO many fun things to do!

A little putt putt...

Look at that form!

Jake had so much fun with Sparklers & fireworks!

Our last day was my birthday, what a great day I had with my favorite people!

We rode the Gondola up to the top of the mountain, Jake loved the ride!

Fun Day at the Park!

Jake and I had a great afternoon at the park with Grace Watson, as you can see the two of them have a great time together!!

Have you ever seen anything as cute as this?!?!

Childrens Museum of Denver

For the past 5 years or so, we have attended a great charity event - the Childrens' Museum of Denver Birthday Bash. This year the girls of Scribbles co-chaired the decoration committee for the event, which was a lot of work but very rewarding to be a part of such a great cause. It was a very fun night, and I must say that the decorations looked great. :)

Nuggets playoff game!

The Nuggets were in the playoffs against the Lakers, and we were lucky enough to go to a game with Taryn and Reed - so fun! AND, we had amazing seats, only a few rows from courtside. The Nuggets played a terrific game & won, but unfortunately lost the series... But, for sure a game that we will never forget!

A few times it got a little loud for Jake. :)

Memorial Day Weekend

We made it home from NYC and then got to spend the long Memorial Day weekend with my mom and her husband Steve. We headed up to the mountains, and stayed in a beautiful cabin in Keystone. We had a great time, filled with lots of walks, throwing rocks in the river, and playing rockband on the Wii (Jake is quite the musician, with the guitar, drums, and singing!).

At the end of the weekend we also were lucky enough to have Jason's sister Rebecca and her husband Wes come visit from Grand Junction. Jake loved having his aunts and uncle around to entertain him.
