Well, Jake's hair grew faster than we ever thought possible, so he had his second haircut today. Plus he wanted to be a little "cooler" for when we leave for Phoenix (over 110 degrees!) next week. He was great, as always, and loved the sound of the clippers. He also thought the Jeep chair was very similar to his Jeep walker that he has at home! :)

So Grown Up!!
Jake is growing before our eyes, and just getting bigger & more grown up every day. As you will see from the pictures, he now sits up all on his own, takes "big boy" baths, drives our car w/ Jason, swims in his own little pool, and even drives his Jeep walker!! Hard for us to believe that he will be 8 months old in just 10 days!!

Full House
This past week we had Kelly's Mom, Sister, Brother-In-Law, and Nephew stayinging with us, all in town for Jake's baptism. Needless to say it was a full house, but we had a great time! Drew, who is almost 2 years old, was all about the Hummer who our neighbors were very nice to let Drew drive in all his spare time. Some other fun things we did while everyone was in town were visiting the Denver Aquarium, a Coors Brewery VIP tour, a few walks to the local Starbucks, and then of course a lot of "street time" so Drew could drive the car. Everyone left today, so the house is very quiet and we miss them already!

Jake's Baptism
This past Sunday Jacob Paul was baptised at Pax Christi Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch, CO. We had a very nice private ceremony with some special friends and family in attendance, including Jake's godparents Jenny and Mike Johnson (Kelly's sister and brother in law). Jake did great, though he chose that time to really "talk" a lot. After the baptism we had a fun party at our house, where we of course served Boston Market food and Coors beer. :) Thanks to all of those of you who helped us celebrate this special day, it meant a lot to us to have you there - and for those that couldn't make it, we missed you!
