Thanksgiving 2012

We had a great Thanksgiving, and were lucky enough to be able to spend it with lots of family and friends! We had a nice brunch with Jason's family, including the Andersons who came in from Grand Junction.

To work off the yummy brunch the boys played football in the backyard even though it was a little chilly!

We then headed over to Taryn's house for a delicious turkey dinner with lots of friends! The kids table was adorable!!

Halloween 2012!

We had so much fun during Halloween time this year!! It wasn't a hard decision for Tyler who to be (HULK!!!!), but Jake had a hard time deciding. We finally went with HULK and a Ninjago ninja.

Jason took the boys to the pumpkin patch, they had so much fun - and obviously bought a lot of pumpkins. :)

Pumpkin carving time!

Jake's school had a Halloween parade in the morning and then I helped with his class party that afternoon.

We had lots of fun at a pre-trick or treating party at our next door neighbors house and then headed out to trick or treat.

Happy Halloween! :)

Jake's 6th Birthday!!

Jake really made his Birthday last as long as possible, he's learned well from his mom! :) Not only did we celebrate his Birthday while we were in Disneyland, but we made sure to have a very fun Birthday party the weekend before we left and then also at our house when we got home and a celebration at school!!

For Jake's birthday party, he had a whirlwind party at "Family Sports Center" - complete with laser tag, bumper cars, bouncers, climbing wall. and video game room!! All the kids were exhausted after the party ended, a good sign of a very fun party.

Look, who of course, also had to try out laser tag!!

Bumper Cars!!

Video game room

Pizza & cake time!

Mom had 25 cupcakes ready for all of his school friends to take home...

Disneyland!!

For quite a few months we had been planning on surprising the boys with a trip to Disneyland for fall break and Jake's 6th Birthday, and we ended up having an amazing trip along with Taryn and Reed!!

We started out trip off with dinner with Goofy, we had so much fun but quickly found out that Tyler was not a fan of the characters in costume!! :)

We loved the hotel we stayed at, right on the the Downtown Disney strip - so great and we were able to go in to the parks a hour early each morning.

Jake was able to celebrate his Birthday our whole trip, and really loved getting a personalized phone message from Mickey wishing him a Happy Birthday!

Starting his birthday morning with some Mickey pancakes!!

We also had great timing, and were able to be at Disneyland during all of their Halloween festivities. We were lucky to get tickets to Mickey's Halloween party, which they close the park to only people that have special tickets - the boys got to dress-up, we saw a great parade and the lines were super short all night...so fun!!

Along with Jake's birthday and Halloween, Jason and I also celebrated our 10th anniversary while in Disneyland - I guess a day we will never forget! :)

What an amazing trip, we can't wait to go back - next time hopefully when Tyler is tall enough to ride all of the rides that his brother can. :)

Such an amazing trip!! Thank you to Taryn and Reed for the great time, and to Taryn's sister Katie & fiance Josh for having so much fun with the boys!!
